Art of Healing
Our innovative and creative approach to massage helps relieve physical discomfort, emotional stress and enhance structural alignment within the body, reframing it towards balance and ease. Our therapists specialize in understanding how muscular and energetic restrictions affect the functions of the body, and we work to decrease pain and increase mobility and movement. On an emotional level, massage works to calm the nervous system and stimulate the natural healing mechanisms in the body. Our therapists not only provide the structural, hands-on massage and manual therapies; we also educate and guide clients about how to actively stretch and maneuver one’s body in ways that increase flexibility, support, and fluidity with movement. Most importantly, we individualize each massage session to meet the unique needs and desires of the client.
Thai massage is an ancient healing system combining acupressure and gentle pressure on different meridians and energy lines of the body. Thai massage includes assisted yoga-like long, lean muscle stretching. The combination provides muscle tension and energy release that helps the body feel elongated and released.

Shiatsu is a form of Japanese bodywork based on the framework of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). In the Japanese language, shiatsu means,“finger pressure.” Shiatsu techniques include massages using the fingers, thumbs, feet, and palms. Shiatsu is assisted stretching and joint manipulation and mobilization.
This massage technique is an approach to soft tissue manual therapy in which pressure is applied to tissues in order to stimulate the musculoskeletal system. This helps to release low back pain, carpal tunnel symptoms, sciatica, headaches, plantar fascitis, and jaw pain.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage therapy uses various degrees of pressure to release chronic muscle tension. It focuses on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia – the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints. AOH Deep Tissue Massage Therapists are highly skilled massage therapists that know how to adjust pressure, manipulate tissues on top of your muscles, and release newly formed knots to address soreness and pain.
Probably the best-known type of massage performed today. The primary goal of Swedish Massage is one of relaxing the entire body. We accomplish this by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. In addition to relaxation Swedish Massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension.
